Detail: | 1 lb. Alaskan Halibut fillets 1 cup White Sugar 1 tsp. Salt 1 qt. Water 1 stick Butter/Margarine 1 tsp. Lemon Juice 1 tsp. Garlic Salt (if desired) Cut Halibut fillets into 1” – 2” cubed pieces. In a large saucepan bring water, salt, and sugar to a boil. Drop the chunks of halibut into the boiling water and cook until they float to the top (indicating the halibut is cooked). Remove from water and serve with melted butter, lemon juice, and garlic salt (to taste) mixture for dipping. |
